Cubicle OS 2.3, an operating system built with the SUSE Studio tool and based on the openSUSE Linux distribution, is now available for download.
Cubicle OS is a rather new operating system and it shows, especially from the way it's built. The developer chose to implement GNOME as the default desktop environment, but it looks like he didn't bother to customize it too much.

In fact, this is a rather odd operating system and it even seems that the developer is planning to make some money with it in the near future. At least this is what we can determine from his website.

There are a few problems with what the developer is saying right from the start. It doesn't have anything in common with Mac OS, as you can clearly see from the image. The fact that LibreOffice is capable of opening DOCX files has nothing to do with the operating system itself and it's a feature of the office suite, and, as far as we can determine, there are no apps made specifically for it, like it says on the website.
It's also weird to see a huge EULA displayed right before users start to download the operating system. The developer tries to say that he has all the rights to Cubicle OS and that he is not responsible if his distro messes up your system.

Once you boot into the system, you are met with the same EULA, which you will have to agree with. The main desktop is the regular GNOME 3.10.1 and that is quite old. The desktop background also has an appalling low resolution.
